Help Doug Thicke Raise funds for CARE Canada by climbing Mt. Kilimunjaro!
Hello Everyone,
Why climb a mountain? Well to raise money for a worthy cause and to honour a good friend of course! In January 2012 I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with CARE Canada in memory of Monique Henri. After visiting a CARE project in Tanzania, the climb commences on January 26th and reaches the summit in eight days. I am looking forward to the challenge and the honour of doing this for Monique. I will be taking some small keepsakes of significance to celebrate Monique’s life as I climb and have been given permission to leave a memento of Monique at the summit.
